About HRActive
HRActive is run by Katie Thorpe, an experienced HR Consultant who has worked across a range of public and private sector organisations, including insurance, manufacturing social care, housing, museums, retail, professional services and the NHS.
Katie is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and has been a member since qualifying in 1986.
She set up HRActive in 2007 after more than 20 years working as a hands-on HR professional dealing with the full range of possible issues that can arise in a business. She has a 100% success rate in employment tribunals.
As well as running HRActive she also runs her own small business, employing a number of staff in a social care setting and understands well the pressures on small business managers.
